The Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion is set to open soon in downtown Allentown, with excitement building among the community. This new education center will replace the existing facility on Cedar Crest College campus and officially welcome the public on May 22.

The inaugural exhibit at the venue will be Dinos Alive, an immersive experience that showcases 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs from Velociraptors to the iconic T-rex. Visitors will have interactive experiences such as exploring the human body in LVHN My Body exhibit or meeting North American River Otters in Pocono Ravine presented by Alvin H. Butz.

Lin Erickson, Executive director and CEO of Da Vinci Science Center expressed her excitement about the long-awaited opening, emphasizing the strong community support that made it possible. The center’s mission is to make science come alive and bring lives to science, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s curiosity.

Apart from exhibit galleries, the Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion offers amenities such as fully equipped classrooms, cutting-edge laboratories, and interactive workshops to engage visitors of all ages. There will even be a rooftop terrace for private events, adding to overall experience of exploring, learning and discovering at this premier science center in Lehigh Valley.
