Gran Turismo 7’s Patch 1.44 Adds New Cars, Events and Features to Enhance Gameplay Experience for Players

The latest update for Gran Turismo 7 is a significant one, introducing a variety of new features and content. Patch 1.44 includes three new cars, a new Café Menu, three World Circuit Events and more.

The iconic Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99 returns to the game alongside limited-time stickers. The update also introduces two new cars: the Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus ’16 and Lamborghini Urus ’18. The Jaguar menu has been moved to the Extra Menus section (Extra Menu No. 37), specifically for players at Collector Level 41 and above.

The update also includes three new World Circuit Events: the European Clubman Cup 600 at Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Infield A Reverse, Schwarzwald League at High Speed Ring Reverse, and World Touring Car 900 at the 24 Heures du Mans race track. Additionally, Fukushima has been included as a featured Curation in Scapes.

Gran Turismo 7 was launched in March 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5 and received a positive review from IGN with a score of 9/10. The game blends elements from the original Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo Sport, focusing on competitive online racing while making some minor missteps. Series development chief Kazunori Yamauchi has praised the game’s active player base since its release.
